Getting Started
1 Measure Walls
The first step in the process is to measure the width and height of the wall or surface that will be covered. We prefer to use actual measurements to build an accurate estimate. If you are covering multiple walls, be sure to include dimensions for each one. Please note: Walls tend to have irregular dimensions, which is why we recommend adding an inch or two to the overall printing size to account for this.
2 Submit Artwork
In order to better assess a project, it is standard to submit sample artwork for review - a low resolution PDF or JPEG via email will do. Please note: Images for wallpaper can get quite large, so upon submitting final art, you may need to use a service such as WeTransfer or Dropbox. If you do not have artwork, we recommend image banks such as Shutterstock, Adobe or Unsplash.
3 Get Pricing
Standard turnaround is usually 5-7 business days after proof approval. Please let us know your delivery date so we can schedule accordingly with our production department. Once you've submitted dimensions, artwork and a timeframe via our estimate form or email, one of our project managers will follow up with an estimate and instructions on how to complete your order.
How Much Wallpaper Would I Need to Print?
One of the most frequently asked questions is "how much wallpaper will I need to cover my room/area/space?".
All you have to do is measure the width and height of your surfaces. We’ve prepared the following visual schematic to help you estimate your project based on room size.
Recreate, Redesign & Print Existing Wallpaper
We work with architects, interior designers and home decorators to match wallpaper designs, patterns and existing materials. Once a design budget has been approved, printing a sample press proof for your review is easy:
- Email a picture of the pattern/design to wallpaper@fineprintnyc.com
- Ship a physical sample for review and high resolution scanning.
- We redesign, retouch and print press samples for project approval.
